Beef Board Business

Weldon Wynn is the Vice Chairman of the Cattlemen’s Beef Board. He opened up the second general session at the Cattle Industry Summer Conference and then made himself available to talk with the media who are attending.
Weldon says “We’ve got a lot of things already accomplished,” when it comes to the work of the Beef Board here at the conference, including approving the committee restructuring proposal. He says it will be good for the industry. There will be a transition period but he says that for now it’s business as usual. I also got Weldon’s thoughts on how the drought is affecting the industry.
