Getting to Know Beef Board Members

Patrick Becker is a cow-calf producer from south central North Dakota. He serves on the International Markets Committee.
Patrick says he got involved in the Beef Board because he wanted to see where the checkoff money was going. And working with the U.S. Meat Export Federation, he says he’s pleased to see how that money is going to develop those new international markets. He encourages other producers to get involved, because it is their industry, and it is just as important as working the pastures back home.
