Operating Committee Meeting At Cattle Industry Convention

Hello from the 2009 Cattle Industry Convention in Phoenix, AZ.
I’ll be your Beef Board Blogger once again and am really happy to see so many of the people I’ve gotten to know during the last couple years we’ve been providing you with as much of the information taking place at these meetings from a Beef Board perspective as we can. Right now your Operating Committee is in session with Dave Bateman at the helm.
The meeting got started with a presentation from CattleFax and then the discussion turned to the budget and the impacts that are expected due to the market this year. I’ll have more on that later after I get to interview one of the leaders in between this evening’s meetings.
