Registration is open today for the 2008 Cattle Industry Convention at the Reno Convention Center and people are filtering in.
I went over this afternoon for a while and met and spoke with a number of cattle producers as they got their registration materials. I thought it would be interesting to hear their perspective on the Checkoff so I just kind of randomly picked a few to ask a couple questions.
I asked what the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions the Checkoff and what they personally think the Checkoff means to them as a cattle producer.
